About the Position:
The Wellness Office Coordinator Provide supervision and oversight with Registered Nurse of Wellness Team. Responsible for overall administrative operations of the Wellness Center. Monitor daily administrative management of Wellness faculty.
What You Will Do:
· Maintaining and keeping records of all faculty schedules, approving time off requests, vacations and sick days, keeping faculty schedules, approval of timecards and community functions that support the health and wellness of the community.
· Oversee the implementation and provision of all contractual program components related to the operations of the Wellness Center. Ensure compliance with CARF Accreditation and Arizona Behavioral Health Residential Facility Licensing Standards
· Development of quality control and follow up procedures to ensure quality of service, clinical documentation and all personnel responsible for documentation.
· Supervises preparation and submission of all required reporting.
· Ensure contract compliance with Amity policies and procedures, relevant to state and federal regulations and contract obligations.
· Attend and participate in Amity community functions
· Assist in resolving programmatic and personnel problems
· The dispensing of medications and keeping records in BN as needed
· Transporting of medications, picking up at local pharmacies, delivery and documentation following all procedures
· Scheduling and ensuring all medical assessments are complete within state and federal regulations
· Building reciprocity with enrollment team ensuring all new enrollments are being assessed and all documentation needed prior to enrollment is delivered to Register Nurse
What You Will Bring:
· Associate arts Degree in business, or human services
OR:
· High school diploma or the equivalent and 2 years’ experience working with special needs students or training in social services, health and experience dealing with diverse populations and public agencies.
· Communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Proficient use of a computer
· Must be able to work in a high pressure and creative environment
· Ability to interact with agency department heads, public officials and multidisciplinary groups of professionals
· Must have finger print card
· Must pass a drug test for illegal substances
Certification:
· Within six (6) weeks of hire, obtain First Aid and CPR certification AND pass a physical examination and tuberculosis test from a health professional
